Five and a half claps for the tremendous effort put forth by members of the Kingsland Teen Library League during preparation for this year's Texas Reading Club!
Several teens were recruited in the early stages of preparation for the summer program and have been busily working on decorations, craft preparation, and set pieces for the last several weeks. Now that TRC is in full swing, other members of the TLL have joined to serve as group volunteers in the various classes.
In August, many of these extraordinary members of the League will be taking part in the Texas Teens Read program; think: banana jousting, need we say more?!

To provide a connection point for Kingsland area youth. KLYC is a safe place of MUTUAL RESPECT where students in grades 6-12 can ARRIVE, EXIST, and ACTUALIZE every Tuesday from 5:00-6:30PM.
